Long Time!!!

Hey Everyone,

Man, time flies.... I didnt even realize it has been almost 8 months since I have posted.  A lot has happened in the last 8 months so I wont even try to summarize all of it here.

Highlights:

Going to Levi and Zoe's wedding....  had a great time with Levi and Zoe hope to see more of everyone.

Summer went well in our new house....  we did tons of work, renovating the basement, painting the entire upstairs etc.

Dawns grandpa moved in with her parents for the last year, this is the most time Dawn has spent with her grandpa.  I got to meet and get to know him. Sadly he past away 2 weeks ago, but it was an awesome funeral and a great celebration of his life.  He was ready to go and is now in the presence of the Lord.  His New Years resolution this year was to be with the Lord by the end of the year.

Dawn and I are getting ready to go on another missions trip this coming Spring Break with her school, we dont know where yet, but Ill keep everyone posted. 

We are also getting to Japanese exchange students coming to live with us for 5 months in February, so that should be interesting, we'll get a taste of what its like to be parents.

Back From Mexico

Hey,

Dawn and I just got back from a long trip to Mexico.  We drove 39 hours there and 39 hours back, but it was all worth it.  It was amazing to be back doing missions work.  Even though it was only a short term trip of 10 days, it is amazing at how much we learnt.  God used that 10 days to remind us of some lessons learnt on our YWAM as well as teach us some new amazing stuff that opened our eyes.  I will post a few pictures as soon as i upload them to my computer.

Also, a message to Levi and Zoe.  I need to speak to one of you.

hello friends!!!!

my life has been quite boring the last few weeks, i have done nothing but work work work.

i have however found out that those free ipod pop ups work!!  2 of my best friends signed up, got 5 friends to sign up and sure enough they both got ipods in 6 weeks.

all you have to do is sign up for a $1.00 30 day trial of something and cancel it the following day.  I did it and only got charged $1 on my credit card, i dont recieve spam emails and i need 3 more friends to sign up before i get a free ipod!!

The 1st month of 2006 is over and the 2nd has begun.  There is no importance in that phrase, but I thought it was a good beginning. 

Nothing too eventful has happened over the last couple of weeks.  BUT, one big event starts tonight SURVIVOR!!!  Tune in, its going to be a good one.  I know some of you might think im crazy to still be on the reality TV band wagon, but I enjoy mindless, thoughtless Television.

Dawn and I could use some prayer as we prepare to go on a 10 day house building mission trip to Mexico in March.  We are leading 7 highschool students from her school.  Pray for guidence and strength as we lead these students.

Well, I have a big announcment to make..... and when Dawn and I made this announcment to our families, their first thoughts were that we are pregnant.  That is not the case....  2 weeks ago we made an offer on a house!  And just yesterday our financing went through and we are going to be home owners!!!  I am so excited to move in, which wont be until the end of March.  All YWAM people who are in BC and need a place to stay now, we have lots of room......  anyone, anytime you are all welcome. 

On another note, Dawn and I may be driving down to San Jose to attend Levi and Zoe's wedding.....  Ive heard through the grape vine that some Oregon peeps might be doing the same.  Ben and Vinnie??  Meres??  If this is true maybe we could make a road trip out of it.
